"Killing us by inches and hours." Roger Zelazny from the first book in the famous Science fiction / fantasy Amber series. This is my favorite quote, and I think of it often, especially when I am getting worked over as I am trying to accomplish something.

Roger Zelazny has been my favorite author since I was around twelve years old. That was when I had the pleasure to read the first book by him, Nine Princes In Amber. I was instantly hooked and have read everything I have been able to find authored by Mr. Zelazny. Sadly he passed away June 14th, 1995. The world lost one of the best science fiction and fantasy authors of all time that sad day.

One of the best science fiction and fantasy authors of the second half of the 20th century, Zelazny won Hugo and Nebula awards for some of his early books.
